Moist and Dry modes ensure you get an airtight seal regardless of food type. And the built-in bag alignment provides correct bag placement for a proper seal every time. This food vacuum sealer also features a dishwasher-safe, removable drip tray for easy cleanup; an easy-lock latch for one-handed operation while you're securing bags; and an accessory port that allows you to use FoodSaver zipper bags, containers, and accessories with the bonus included handheld sealer and hose. This food saver brand vacuum sealer has excellent suction power and leaves a nice seal on the bags. I wasn't sure how I would like the tilted design but it's really easy to use and works great. I love that the bags are stored right in the machine and I can cut the length of bag I need easily with the cutter. They included a roll of bags with the machine so it was ready to use as soon as I unpacked the machine from the box and loaded in the bags. To close the unit, just push the lever. When you push either the "vacuum" or "seal" button, a light comes on and flashes while it's working and the light will go off when the cycle is completed and it is time to remove the bag. You can choose either vacuum or seal. If you choose vacuum, it will vacuum the air out and then automatically switch to the seal mode. There is a removeable drip tray for moist foods so it is easy to keep the machine clean. This vacuum sealer works equally well for wet or dry foods. I would definitely buy this again.
